"That's what fiction is about, isn't it, the selective transforming of reality?"

H. Savinien
I'm a librarian and a follower of many, many fandoms, some more obscure than others. I use this journal for displaying my fiction (the master list may be found here: Fiction Listing), fan and original, as well as occasional rants and ramblings. I have also collected a well-organized Memories cache, listing many other LJ writers' fiction. Please browse freely--library patrons are always encouraged to look through the stacks...

You do not need to ask my permission to remix, podfic, translate, create art for or create secondary fanwork of any fanwork I have created. Please credit me and include a link back to my work, though. And please let me know because I'd love to see it.

Rating system:
G - Clean. Nothing offensive, unless the reader is offended by something like the existence of queer people, in which case they should exit my journal as quickly as possible.
PG - Mild thematic elements.
PG-13 - Some language, mild sexual or violent content.
PG-15 - Strong language, sexual or violent content.
R - Prominent sexual or violent content.
NC-17 - Smut. Plot, of course, but also blatant smut. May also include violence.

I'm also a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, as is my dear yuri_shoujo.

I am, of course, none other than blank verse.
I don't know where I'm going, yes, quite right;
And when I get there (if I ever do)
I might not recognise it. So? Your point?
Why should I have a destination set?
I'm relatively happy as I am,
And wouldn't want to be forever aimed
Towards some future path or special goal.
It's not to do with laziness, as such.
It's just that one the whole I'd rather not
Be bothered - so I drift contentedly;
An underrated way of life, I find.
